- About us: Established on 1 October 2000, Milton Keynes PCT is responsible for the operation of GP services and commissioning of healthcare for Milton Keynes.
There are 28 GP practices, over 300 dentists, opticians and pharmacists and 1200 staff who work within the PCT.
The PCT covers a population of 230,000 registered with GPs, with a rapidly expanding population which is set to increase to 260,000 by 2010. The number of people aged 50 years plus is estimated to also rise by 37% in the same period, although the overall age profile is currently younger than the national average. - Industry Sector: Healthcare
