    LADIES DAY AT THE MK DONS
    Saturday 12th February
    MK Dons v Brentford – Kick off 15.00
     
    The Milton Keynes Dons game against Brentford on Saturday 12th February. kick off 3pm, has been designated to host the first stadium:mk ‘Ladies Big Day’!
     
    The Ladies Day will see MK Dons supporting local charity, The Myrtle Peach Trust, on the day who are a local charity and a Milton Keynes Hospital Registered Trust. The charity works to help Milton Keynes Hospital prevent, treat and combat cervical and ovarian cancer. Collectors will both be inside and outside the stadium to raise money for this great cause
     
    Christopher B-Lynch who established The Myrtle Peach Trust said “The Trust was established for a fundraising charity in May 1987. It supported cervical cancer care with excellent results and now also concentrates on early diagnosis of ovarian cancer together with active research with Cranfield University.”
     
    “This involves stem cell immunology for this disease also known as the ‘silent killer’. Progress report regarding this program is good and we continually need funds to help fight this disease.”
     
    A series of other special events has been planned, with activities starting from 1.00pm in Club Red.
     
    Threeforagirl, a close harmony trio, from Kent, who have just completed a tour of America last year, will be providing the musical entertainment in the Clydesdale Bank Ballroom from 2.00pm.
     
    Manicures and polishes will be on offer by The Therapy Club who have just been introduced as the official beauty treatment providers of the Doubletree at Hilton. Their therapists will be on hand in club Red to offer head, neck and shoulder massages.
     
    The majority of the day’s activities will be held in the Club Red area where female fans (and accompanying gents) can purchase tickets for just £20. Female season ticket holders from other areas in the ground can also upgrade to Club Red for just £5 along with their accompanying season ticket holder friends and families, male or female. Club red includes access to the Clydesdale Bank Ballroom, complimentary half time tea and coffee and the opportunity to meet the Man of the Match directly after the game.
     
    Other features planned for Ladies Day include the introduction of the MK Dons Ladies Team to the crowd at half time. Ballgirls from the MK Dons Girls’ Centre of Excellence will be in action pitchside throughout the match, to support the team. Wishes Photography from Little Horwood will be present in club Red to capture the events of the day.
     
    Chairman Pete Winkelman also held a special reception at stadiummk for 20 local businesswomen on Monday 7th February.
     
    Andrew Cullen, Group Sales and Marketing Director at MK Dons said ” The Ladies Big Day is another special event designed to encourage more people to experience the excitement and emotions of live football as well as encouraging more ladies and girls to get involved in playing the game.

     
    “ We are proud of the facilities we have at stadiummk which was rated number one this year in an independent Football League survey for comfort, safety, sightlines and stadium cleanliness and we hope that events such as the Ladies Day will introduce more people to their local professional football team  and go on to become regular supporters”.
